Chagrin Falls High School Students Photography Field Trip
The Chagrin Falls photography students came to take on the Cleveland Metro Park Zoo. Students of all high school ages took photos to show their photography abilities and show their point of view of the day. The Students were given the criteria to take pictures of animals displayed in the zoo. On April 15th the zoo brought a new baby giraffe into the world, its name is is Jeda. After the students took their Photos in the Zoo they went on to the Local Junk Yard and took pictures of broken down cars, broken glass, rusty metal and more. Students were required to take pictures to make these cars stand out and take photos of them from different perspectives. The family who has owned the junkyard has been selling used car parts and other accessories for 35 years. Bennett's favorite photos is the one of the small children feeding the giraffe showing the emotion in the kids eyes who have never seen a giraffe in person before. Bennett loves the contrast between the brown spots on the giraffe and the colorful coats of the children and how the giraffe is on a powerpoint of the image. In all the entire trip was a success with everyone being able to get photos for the project and show off their editing skills.
